At Brent Youth Radio, we believe in the power of music, creativity, and connection. Based in the heart of Brent, we are a 24/7 online radio station dedicated to engaging with all members of our community, from young voices to older listeners, with a special focus on dementia awareness and creative wellbeing.

Though our name reflects our roots in youth-led initiatives, our mission is intergenerational. We are here for everyone, especially those affected by dementia, including carers, families, and people living with memory loss. Because dementia can touch any life, and together, we can make a difference.with support from volunteers.

Supporting the EMPOWER Dementia Network.

We’re proud to support the EMPOWER Dementia Network, a collaborative platform connecting people with lived experience, healthcare professionals, and community voices to create meaningful change around dementia awareness.

Through collaborating with the EMPOWER DEMENTIA NETWORK, Brent Council and friends , were evolving plan is to lunch various shows, blending:
• Uplifting, easy-listening music
• Creative health and wellbeing content
• Public service announcements and support resources
• Voices from the community, including carers, family members, and professionals.

As the programme evolves, we’ll be introducing regular presenters, community storytelling, and podcast episodes all focused on raising awareness, reducing stigma, and empowering our listeners.
